Whoops.
Forgot to set the clock back.
**How can you care?** 'Because I choose to.' **You make it sound so simple.** 'That's because it is simple. Hard sometimes, but simple.'

Surgeon General Says No Shortage of Flu Vaccine
Is this where I start up the "Bullshit" chant?
Drank saké. Damn cheap swill from the local hibachi place. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
*rumaging thru fridge*
Ah, this is good for removing bad tastes... Jim Bean Whiskey.
See ya later. ;-)

Deaf kids struggling to pass English
One thing that caught me in here is a sentence saying, "Experts say the average deaf child isn't introduced to English until age 6, upon entering school."
So these kids don't read? They don't have parents willing to sit down and sign out a book to them, like I sit down and read a book to Raven?

I'm tired, but it's not the kind of afternoon tiredness a cup of coffee will fix.
The arthritis I was diagnosed with 17 years ago is slowly but surely creeping up my back, and I'm tired because I have been in varying degrees of much pain for the last 3 hours.
I get the feeling this is going to be a "Go home and take a vicodin" night...

I don't want to be here.
It's not really because of work, it's been quiet today and it'll be mostly silent tomorrow, since the lawyers are leaving today for a retreat and a lot of secretaries will take most of tomorrow off for the State Fair.
It's not the writing... I'm cruising along (23,621 words!), getting ready for the final showdown.
It's because I started a new game this morning, and I want to go back to it. Final Fantasy IV. I loved the 20 minutes or so I got to mess with it this morning, and I wanna go spend a few more hours on it.
I just know I'm not going to have a lot of time this weekend to mess with it, or even start on Demon Stone. I've got too much other stuff to do.
I've somehow got almost 6 days of leave. Don't ask me where they came from, I was 3 days in the hole back in May. I may have to use one in the not too distant future...

Yesterday, I got barely over 500 words out. 500 words that had to be drug out, kicking and screaming, to put on the page. 500 words that literally took 6 hours to put down. I'd write a sentence then have to walk away from it in order to figure out the next sentence.
Today, 404 words in 30 minutes. Now the images flow. Now I'm not scared to get to the ending.
And, of course, now is when Delphi has gone completely dead, to the point you can't even get into the Members forum to look for updates on the problem that started yesterday. And people pay for that crap? (sorry, C4S gang, I know most of y'all have)
