DOH~! Sorry, Jeannie. Things have been happening since Monday that I'm not ready to put up here yet, but that have kept me busy.

Turns out that the pain and swelling was because I had a snack and a half crammed up in between the last and next-to-last molar on the top right side. He numbed me up, took out this long pointy tool, and dug it all out. After a lecture about my flossing habits (or, more corectly, the complete lack thereof), he sent me home. He called last night to make sure I was doing fine, and I am. The gum's back to it's normal size, there's no pain, and I'm buying floss when I go grocery shopping today. ;-)

Ow! Glad to hear you're doing much better in the tooth department.

I have to undergo the long pointy tool route once this crown is over with. No one has actually mentioned my no-flossing habit, but I suspect the lecture is not far off.

I hope whatever else is going on isn't too bad. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Sorry for the double-post. Blogger's response page has changed and I got confused.
