A week or so ago, someone over on the DVDVR board posted the top 10 anime soundtracks, and included in the list was the Akira soundtrack. I had a copy of a copy on tape back in college, but lost it long ago. So I went to your friendly neighborhood Ebay and got me a copy cheap (less than $12, including shipping).

When I got it today, I remembered that a friend of mine in college said you really had to be in an, ah, altered state of mind to appreciate some of the tracks.
